About this collection

The Winona Railroad Collection includes images and a variety of memorabilia related to the history of the interurban railroad in northern Indiana.  The Winona Railroad was developed to transport the thousands of guests who traveled from Chicago and Indianapolis and many other parts of the country to attend the Christian Chautauqua in Winona Lake, IN.  It expanded to include towns north and south of Warsaw/Winona Lake serving other needs of people who lived along the line such as transportation to work, shopping and other business needs.  Enjoy viewing the images of railroad cars and stations as well as tickets, schedules, advertisements and so much more.
